I’ve grown up in both Scotland and New Zealand and have always had a close connection to the water. It’s in my ancestry and veins to be around the sea and I want to show others how raw and beautiful the Scottish seas and their communities can be.
Following my degree in Communication Design in the coastal city of Aberdeen in the dark and dreich northeast of Scotland, I found an unexpected path into the marine conservation industry.
I currently work as a Digital Engagement Officer for The Open Seas Trust, but look for opportunities where I can help.
I love to dive deep into the heart of environmental justice and the communities it touches. Amplifying the voices that often go unheard in these crucial conversations, shining a spotlight on the struggles and resilience of vulnerable communities and the environments around them. “Scotland’s equally as incredible as the pristine beaches and blues of Bali, it’s just we don’t shout about it enough!”
